Whether your a royalist or not, there's something special about a wedding. Saturday was no exception, with all the bad news that's around ,yesterday was a day to celebrate. Nigel and I were so privileged to have a front row seat on what was a day to remember. Here are just a few memories of the day. It was an early start at Windsor, but warm ,with our special passes we had no traffic problems and were ushered through Windsor by a team of happy volunteers .The only time we had to queue was for security .We were all given jute bags with biscuits ,chocolate, fridge magnets and a bottle of water,
all commemorating the happy couples wedding day We were all given the order of service, we were ready to
take our seats, have a well needed coffee and croissant and relax in the
It wasn't long before we were celebrity spotting and then the royals arrived. The atmosphere was electric, bells ringing from every church in Windsor ,the police and security all friendly and joining in with the celebrations. What we do in this country is put on a show and that's what we did all timed to perfection. The service sounded amazing outside and the music was wonderful, especially the cellist and the gospel choir.
We were made to feel just like another guest as the bride and groom passed by we were one side of the road the guests opposite us.
A day to remember forever.
