Ali Lochrie Respite Care Manager

Ali Website

Ali qualified as a registered Nurse in 1983 and has worked in various nursing roles including coronary care, Night Sister in Nursing Care Homes as well as seven years working as part of a Health Visiting Team for GP Practises. Ali has also been a part-time carer for both her parents. She has diplomas in Massage Therapy and Counselling.

Jackie Baigent-  Respite Care Assistant Manager

Jackie has NVQ level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and has worked in nursing home settings as a Senior Care Assistant for six years. She has also worked at St Austell Community Hospital on the Rehabilitation Wards and was the Moving and Handling Link Trainer for both wards.

 

Sandy Hatcher- Respite Therapist

Sandy has a BSc (Hons 1st) Health Studies; Qualified General Nurse and Mental Health Nurse, Diploma in Holistic Massage; Reiki Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist. 

Sandy has worked within the NHS for many years, both as a qualified General Nurse and Mental Health Nurse. She now works as a complementary therapist, incorporating clinical nursing knowledge into therapy practice.

As well as being part of the Respite Team, Sandy also offers holistic massage, meditative relaxation techniques and Reiki healing at the Merlin MS Centre

Lisa Miners- Respite Care Assistant

Lisa has been working in the care setting for over thirteen years. She is qualified in NVQ level 2 and 3 Early Year Childcare and has worked in nursery and primary settings as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for eight years. She felt a natural progression to continue her work into adult social healthcare and has been part of the Respite Team for two years.
